Creating a server

The creation wizard in the panel walks through five steps and provisions the container when you finish.

›Name your server. The name also becomes its subdomain label, which you can rename later.
›Pick your server software: Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt.
›Pick a Minecraft version. The list comes from the versions that software actually supports — it is not a free-text field.
›Choose a location: Falkenstein, Germany or Madrid, Spain. The wizard measures your real round-trip to each one from your browser, so you pick on a number rather than a guess.
›Optionally search for mods, plugins or a modpack to install at creation, then accept the Minecraft EULA and create.
›Provisioning allocates a port on the node, creates a persistent volume for your world, and starts the container. It normally takes under a minute.

🌐

Connecting players

Every server gets a free subdomain, and you can point your own domain at it.

›Your address is yourlabel.play.eytak.com for a server in Falkenstein, or yourlabel.es.play.eytak.com in Madrid — each location has its own address so players reach it directly instead of via the other country. Players type just that, with no port, because our edge listens on the default Minecraft port 25565. The panel always shows your server's exact address.
›Rename the subdomain label from the panel at any time; the old one stops resolving immediately.
›To use your own domain, add it in the panel. You are given an exact TXT record to prove ownership and a CNAME to point at us, both with copy buttons — the CNAME target matches your server's location, so copy the one the panel shows rather than one from elsewhere.
›Hit Verify once the records are live. Until they propagate, the domain shows as pending and your subdomain keeps working.

Console and commands

Live server output in the browser, with in-game commands over RCON.

›Output streams as it happens — the connection is a live stream, not a poll, and it falls back to polling automatically if the stream drops.
›The full log history is searchable, so you can find a stack trace from last week without downloading anything.
›The command box runs in-game commands (op, whitelist, say, gamerule …) via RCON. It is not a shell — there is no host access from the panel, by design.
›Scroll up and the view stops following new lines, so reading history does not fight the stream.
›Deleting a server purges its logs along with it.

👥

Players and moderation

See who is connected, and manage the whitelist, operators and bans — whether or not the server is running.

›The Players tab shows who is connected right now, alongside the whitelist, the operator list and both ban lists.
›Add or remove players from any list, grant or revoke operator, kick, ban and unban — all from the panel, no console syntax to remember.
›The whitelist has a single switch for whether it is enforced. A populated whitelist does nothing until that is on, and the panel says so rather than letting you find out.
›Everything works on a stopped server too: the change is written to the server's own files and takes effect the next time it starts. The panel tells you which of the two happened.
›Every moderation action is recorded in your workspace audit log, with who did it and whether it applied live or at next start.

Files

Browse, edit, upload and download your server's files directly in the browser.

›The Files tab is the real server directory, not a curated view — worlds, logs, datapacks, plugin jars and everything else.
›Text files (configs, logs, properties) open in an editor in the browser. Everything else downloads.
›Upload files up to 64 MB, and download files up to 8 MB. Moving a whole world is what backups and world import are for, and they have no such limit.
›Create folders, rename and delete. Deletions are permanent from the panel's point of view, so they ask first.
›Two things are never shown: anything outside your server's own volume, and your server's RCON password. The panel cannot reach the host machine at all.

Scheduled tasks

Restart nightly, back up weekly, or announce a reset on the hour — without being at the keyboard.

›A task can restart, start or stop the server, take a backup, or run a console command.
›Timing is either a time of day on chosen weekdays, or an interval. There is no cron syntax to get wrong.
›Times are entered on your own clock and shown back the same way. They are stored in UTC, so a daily task keeps its UTC instant across daylight-saving changes — the form says so next to the field.
›The shortest interval is 30 minutes: a restart takes a modded server minutes to come back, and a backup costs real storage.
›Each task shows its next run, its last run and whether that run worked. If the server was not in a state to act on, it says so rather than failing silently.
›Up to 10 tasks per server. Pause one at any time without deleting it.

Mods, plugins and modpacks

Search Modrinth and CurseForge from the panel and apply to a running server.

›Results are filtered to what your server software can load — plugins for the Bukkit family, mods and modpacks for the loader families. You cannot install a Fabric mod onto Paper.
›Add or remove content on the Mods & Plugins tab after creation, not only in the wizard.
›Applying a change recreates the container with the new set. That means a brief restart; your world volume is kept, not touched.
›Content is tracked by project, and the version installed is the current one for your Minecraft version.
›There is no dependency resolver of our own. A modpack brings its own dependency set; individually chosen mods do not.

Config files

Edit server.properties and anything under config/ and plugins/ in the panel.

›Supported formats are read and written with structure intact: .properties, .yml, .yaml, .json, .json5, .toml, .conf, .cfg, .ini and .txt.
›World directories, logs, caches, crash reports and the backup directory are deliberately not browsable — configs are the surface, not the whole filesystem.
›Files are capped at 256 KB each, which is far above any real config and keeps an edit from stalling the node agent.
›For gameplay settings specifically, the Settings tab is easier: difficulty, game mode, max players, PvP, online mode, flight, command blocks, monster spawning, Nether and hardcore as toggles and dropdowns.
›Changing settings applies the same way a content change does — a brief restart, world preserved.

💾

Backups and restore

A verified daily snapshot, on by default, stored away from your node.

›One snapshot of your world is taken each day. You can also take one on demand whenever you like.
›A snapshot only reads as stored once its bytes are verified in storage. Anything mid-flight is shown as uploading, not as a backup.
›Restore any stored snapshot from the panel in one action.
›Retention keeps your most recent snapshots — 1 on the trial, 3 on Starter, 7 on Pro — and prunes older ones, so retained storage cannot quietly grow your bill. It never prunes below one surviving snapshot.
›Backup storage is billed at £0.000000019 per GB per second, separately from your server's disk.
›You can switch backups off. Existing snapshots are then kept for 72 hours before retention deletes them, so a misclick is recoverable — turn them back on inside that window and nothing is lost.

Importing an existing world

Upload a world as a zip and replace the one on your server.

›Stop the server first. The backend and the node agent both refuse an import against a running server.
›Uploads are capped at 512 MB. If your world is bigger than that, open a ticket and we will move it for you.
›The import replaces the world, Nether and End. Your mods, plugins and configs are left alone.
›This is destructive and the panel says so before you confirm. Take a snapshot first if you might want the old world back.

Auto-sleep and wake-on-connect

An empty server stops costing you CPU and memory, and wakes when somebody joins.

›On by default. Set the idle delay per server, anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours.
›There are two depths. After the delay an empty server is frozen — it resumes in a blink. After several idle hours it is shut down fully, and waking it is a normal boot, which for a large modpack can take up to a minute.
›Either way, the next player to connect triggers the wake. They do not need to know the server was asleep, though the first connection after a full shutdown may need a retry while it boots.
›Emptiness is judged from real connections on the server, not only from the player count a plugin reports.
›Freezing stops the CPU and memory meters. Swapped-out memory is billed at the storage rate while it is held, and your disk keeps being billed because your world is still there.

Billing and usage

Per-second metering with your plan's credit applied against it.

›CPU, memory, disk and backup storage are metered every second they are allocated to you. The rates are published on the pricing page.
›Your plan includes a monthly credit — £5 on Starter, £10 on Pro — and usage is drawn from it. Anything beyond it lands on your next invoice.
›The panel shows the running usage breakdown by resource, your remaining credit, and every invoice, so any figure on a bill traces back to something that ran.
›You can set an execution freeze threshold and we email you at 80% and 100% of it. It stops servers running at the level you choose, but retained disk and backup storage keep being measured — it is a brake, not a maximum bill.
›Deleting a server stops its meters and removes its container, world volume and logs.

Teams and workspaces

Share servers with your admins under real, enforced roles.

›A workspace owns servers and billing. You can belong to several and switch between them in the panel.
›Invite people by email. They accept the invite and join with the role you chose.
›Roles are owner, admin, member and viewer, and they are enforced on the API — not hidden in the interface.
›The workspace owner pays for the servers in it.

API and webhooks

Scoped tokens for scripts, and webhooks for events we really emit.

›Create API tokens in the panel, each scoped to what it needs — read servers, manage servers, read billing — and revoke any one without disturbing the others.
›Webhooks cover server start, stop and restart requests, commands executed, backups requested and restores requested. We deliberately do not list events the backend does not emit.
›Deliveries are retried on failure, and the panel shows the delivery log so you can see exactly what we sent and what came back.

Your data and your account

Export, deletion and cancellation without emailing anyone.

›Download everything we hold about your account from your account page.
›Start an account deletion yourself. It is confirmed, scheduled and cancellable inside the window.
›Consumer cancellation rights, including the 14-day statutory right, are handled in the panel too. The terms and privacy policy on this site are the same documents the product enforces.

What Eytak doesn't do

Worth reading before you migrate a server across. We would rather you find these out here than after paying.

—There is no SFTP or FTP access, and no way to point an external client at your files. The Files tab is the whole server directory, but it is the only door: uploads are capped at 64 MB per file and downloads at 8 MB, and anything bigger belongs to backups or world import.
—Scheduled tasks are a time of day or a fixed interval, not cron. The shortest interval is 30 minutes, and each server may have up to 10 tasks — there is no finer granularity and no expression to write.
—There are no managed MySQL databases and no phpMyAdmin.
—Alerting is a fixed set of events, not thresholds you define. A server crashing, holding near its memory ceiling for five minutes, going to sleep, or failing a backup will notify a Discord channel or an email address per server; there is no way to set your own level on an arbitrary metric.
—TPS is not measured. CPU, memory, disk and player count are.
—JVM flags are not exposed. The heap sizes itself as a percentage of your container limit.
—Changing the Minecraft version or server software after creation is a reinstall, not a live switch: the server is rebuilt and comes back a few minutes later. Whether your world comes across depends on the change, and the panel states which before you confirm — an upgrade keeps it, going back a version or switching mod loader cannot.
